Capture the fun and excitement of riding a bike! The Cycling Club offers a group for every level of rider from rookies to intermediate to advanced as well as the very advanced. Club members ride Monday thru Friday at 8 AM, with rides Saturday and Sunday for those wanting to ride the hills. Activities include local rides; monthly Koffee Klatches at members’ homes; rides to breakfast and lunch at local restaurants; and 2-4 day car trips to Monterey, Guerneville and beyond. The Club also sponsors an Oktoberfest barbeque, Christmas party, and a spring Poker Ride.

The Computer Club

Have you mastered the technology of the 21st century? Utilizing our state-of-the art computer center, the Computer Club offers classes which provide educational opportunities in the latest computer and software use. The Club also promotes computer literacy through Special Interest Groups, i.e. Genealogy, Intermediate Plus, Moviemaker, PC@Night, MAC@Night, Photography, and digital photo editing. Mentors are available for individual help. The Club meets once a month to present interesting and informative programs.

Needle Arts

Do you sew, knit, crochet, weave, quilt, bead, or hand embroider? The Needle Arts Club has a wide variety of special interest groups and classes for each of these crafts. Our Sewing Room has up-to-date machines for sewing, embroidering, serging, free motion quilting, and weaving. There is a monthly General meeting and a monthly newsletter announcing the group activities and program speakers. The Club sponsors a Fashion Show in May, a Holiday Boutique in November, and a Holiday Home Tour in December.

The Fine Arts Club

Drawing and painting in a variety of media showcase the many talents of the Sun City Roseville Fine Arts Club members. Classes in oil, watercolor, drawing, and acrylics provide members with the opportunity to enhance their skills. Once a month, the Club hosts Saturday evening art exhibits and wine & cheese receptions to showcase the work of the talented artists in Sun City Roseville. Club members also participate in field trips to local galleries and museums and hold monthly meetings which feature guest artists. The Club welcomes anyone who has an appreciation of the arts.

Billiards

RACK EM UP AND BREAK EM! The Billiards Room in the Sun City Roseville Lodge has become a favorite gathering spot for Sun City’s finest ‘pool’ players. The Room is well-appointed with four tables for daily play. Both men and women actively participate in regular as well as tournament play for teams and singles. Monthly in-house 8-ball and
9-ball tournaments are held among members as is weekly play on Wednesday evenings for the couples group.
